Day 1

On arrival at Djerba Airport you will be met and transferred to the Hotel Erriadh in Houmt Souk Djerba for 2 nights.

The Erriadh is a 350 year old converted merchant’s funduq, with a very pretty courtyard, set right in the middle of Houmt Souq.

Day 2

At leisure.

Day 3

Transfer to Djerba Airport for your flight to the fabulous oasis of Tozeur. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the 5* Dar Cherait Hotel for 3 nights.

Days 4 & 5

At leisure to explore the area.

Day 6

After breakfast you will be transferred by 4×4 vehicle for the drive to Douz and Ksar Gilane. You will be accompanied by a guide, in addition to your driver. Overnight in a tent at Pansea.

At the brink of the vast dune desert, this tiny natural oasis is accessible only in four-wheel-drive vehicles. The road may be rough, but at journey’s end smooth living awaits: comfortable, well-equipped dove-white tents, a stylish reception area and restaurant, a beautiful swimming pool. Sheltered by a thicket of tamarisk trees, yet with a limitless horizon beyond, Pansea Camp is not the middle of nowhere but an extraordinary and exciting wild location.

Day 7

Drive to Tataouine. Overnight at the Hotel Sangho Tataouine.

Day 8

Drive to Matmata where you will spend the night at Diar El Berber.

Day 9

Transfer back to Djerba to the Hotel Diar Dhiafa for 3 nights. The Diar Dhiafa is a conversion of four old houses in Erriadh, a quiet village in the centre of the island inhabited by an ancient Jewish community.

Days 10 & 11

At leisure.

Day 12

Transfer to Djerba Airport for your flight back to the UK.
