Singapore and Malaysia : 17 days

Day 1

On arrival at Singapore Airport you will be met and transferred to Le Meridien Orchard for 4 nights.

Days 2 – 4

At leisure in Singapore, a dynamic city where you’ll find a harmonious blend of culture, cuisine, arts and architecture. Stroll along Orchard Road, visit Raffles Hotel, enjoy a Broadway show and eat at wonderful restaurants.

Day 5

Today you leave Singapore and fly to Tioman Island, Malaysia, for 5 nights at the Berjaya Beach Resort.

Days 6 – 9

At leisure on Tioman Island. The island’s name first became widely recognised when it shot to fame as the location for the mythical Bali Hai in the film South Pacific. Beautiful Tioman is the largest and most popular of Malaysia’s east coast islands.

Day 10

Fly from Tioman Island to Kuala Lumpur and transfer to the Radius International Hotel for 2 nights.

Day 11

At leisure to explore Kuala Lumpur. Discover the exciting landmarks of the city including the King’s Palace, Parliament House and the National Monument at the Lake Gardens. Go up the 421m high KL Tower, the tallest telecommunications tower in Asia, and enjoy a meal in the revolving restaurant.

Day 12

Depart Kuala Lumpur for an overnight sightseeing excursion to the Cameron Highlands.

Day 13

Sightseeing in the Cameron Highlands. Return to Kula Lumpur for overnight at the Radius Hotel.

Day 14

Leave Kuala Lumpur by express bus for Malacca. On arrival in Malacca make your way to the City Bayview Hotel for 3 nights.

Days 15 and 16

At leisure in Malacca. Malacca, founded in the 14th Century, is full of history. Visit the Cultural Museum, the Zoo, St Paul’s Church (where St Francis Xavier was buried in 1553 before his body was moved to Goa), the fortress A’Famosa, the Kampung Keling Mosque, Jonker’s Street and the Maritime Museum. There are three beautiful beaches and islands off the coast, including Pulau Upeh where you can go turtle-watching.

Day 17

Leave Malacca and travel back to Singapore Airport by bus. Check in for your flight back to London.
