Day 1

Depart London Heathrow on your direct flight to Bangkok.

Day 2

On arrival in Bangkok you will be met and transferred to the Montien Riverside Hotel for three nights. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3

At leisure in Bangkok.

Day 4

In the morning visit the famous Damnoen Saduak floating market. Depart to Ratchaburi province, for the village of Damnoen Saduak surrounded by a network of khlongs (canals) that radiate out into the orchards and gardens in the surrounding countryside. Daily, local farmers gather fruit, vegetables and prepared dishes and trade them along the canals to the drop off point at the market wharf.

Day 5

You will be transferred from the hotel to the airport in time to check in for your flight to Chiang Mai. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Puripunn Hotel for five nights in a deluxe double room.

Day 6

At leisure.

Day 7

Depart Chiang Mai on a two-day adventure trek! (Your room will be kept at the Puripunn Hotel). Leave Chiang Mai and stop at the Maemalai market where vendors sell fruit, flowers and food. Continue to the Hot Spring for a picnic lunch. After lunch there is a three hour trek through tropical evergreen forests to a Karen Hilltribe village. Dinner and overnight stay in a Karen home.

Day 8

After breakfast trek to an elephant camp and ride for 90 minutes to a Lahu Hilltribe village. After lunch here, enjoy a three hour raft trip down the Mae Taeng River to a Shan village from where a pick-up truck will take you back to Chiang Mai.

Day 9

Half day Thai cookery course at the Chiang Mai Cookery School. All utensils, apron, ingredients, certificate and lunch are included. There will also be an English speaking teacher. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 10

You will be transferred to the airport in time to check in for your flight to Koh Samui with Bangkok Airways. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Anantara Resort and Spa for five nights.

Koh Samui is an island of slender coconut trees and lush tropical greenery, cascading waterfalls and soft white sandy beaches in the Gulf of Thailand.

Days 11- 14

At leisure.

Day 15

You will be transferred to the airport in time to check in for your flight to Bangkok. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Montien Riverside Hotel for overnight.

Day 16

Transfer to the airport in time to check in for your return flight to London.
