Honeymoons and Special Occasions
We love arranging honeymoons and travel for special anniversaries and birthdays, - you can be sure that your itinerary will be unique. Here are a few suggestions for some fantastic destinations.
India - Kerala and the Lakshadweep Islands
Located in the south west corner of India, the former Malabar Coast on the edge of the Arabian Sea, the "Land of the Coconut" is a lush state growing rice, ginger, tea, coffee and spices with a diverse and beautiful landscape. The Lakshadweep Islands are a geographical extension of the Maldives island chain and are referred to by many as the 'ultimate island paradise'. Set in the Arabian Sea, the beautiful palm fringed island of Bangaram lies 450kms west of Cochin. The shallow turquoise lagoons enclosed by the coral reef are magnificent natural aquariums and are ideal for swimming, snorkelling and diving. The Resort offers the perfect get away from it all. Accommodation has been limited to just thirty twin bedded huts with private facilities, built in local style with thatched palm roofs.
Madagascar
The fourth largest island in the world, French is the official language and this is the land of lemurs! Go in search of the Common Brown and Eastern Grey lemurs and the Indri, and visit Iranja Island a private island situated just south of Nosy Be with excellent water sports available.
Italy
One of the most romantic honeymoon destinations in the world! Go to Venice or Florence or Rome, explore the Tuscan hills and Lombardy, visit the Isle of Capri or Sicily and enjoy the Italian Experience!
Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands
Geographically, Ecuador is small but it is uniquely endowed with an amazing variety of climatic zones, vegetation, birds and wildlife. Travel from jungle rainforest to the foothills and the high slopes of the Andes, down to the Pacific Coast and out to the Galapagos Islands, a mysterious and fascinating archipelago with a plethora of birdlife including the famous boobies! Seals, dolphins, iguanas, giant tortoises and turtles abound!
The Seychelles
The 115 Seychelles islands lie in the Western Indian Ocean and enjoy an all-year-round equatorial climate with temperatures seldom below 24 degrees or above 33 degrees centigrade. The main island of Mahé is the gateway to the Seychelles: home to the smallest capital in the world (Victoria), it has 75 beaches and features some of the most beautiful scenery. Praslin is the perfect base for island hopping. It is also where the famous Coco de Mer grows in the Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. La Digue, probably the most charming of the islands, has remained untouched by the passage of time. The bicycle and ox-cart still hold sway and its beaches are amongst the most photographed in the world. Each island in the Seychelles archipelago is different to the next and each one has its own character.
Western Canada
From Vancouver and Vancouver Island on the coast, to the town of Banff at the centre of Banff National Park, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Western Canada with the towering Rockies is an exciting and memorable honeymoon location. Walk along nature trails, hike into the backcountry, climb peaks made famous by earlier tourist-explorers, ski, play golf, camp, tour glaciers, river raft, cycle - or just chill out!
New Zealand
Travel to the far side of the world and explore a landscape of endless diversity with a unique culture and a warm and friendly welcome. Fall in love with Wellington, New Zealand's culinary capital renowned for art and culture, enjoy the hospitality of the Maori people, ski, go white water rafting and that challenging bungee jump you've always wanted to do!
Costa Rica
Costa Rica with its cloud forest, unspoiled white sand beaches, coastal jungle vegetation and fiery volcanoes, draws visitors from around the globe seeking adventure and a chance to enjoy this unique natural environment.
Fiji
The magnificent Fiji Islands are a wonderfully relaxing escape to coconut palm fringed, sun-drenched white sand beaches. Fijians operate on what is called 'Fiji Time' - they are very casual and laid back so patience is needed! However, they are very friendly and by respecting their many customs and their culture you will make a lot of new friends!
