The Unpackaged Travel Company is a boutique travel business run by owner Pam Roper. Almost all business is from repeat clients and recommendation: many clients have become friends over the years and when we meet to discuss a holiday, we have to catch up with each other first! We pride ourselves on our personal service, and putting together the trip you really want. We have travelled extensively, love to travel, and can offer first hand advice.
Planning
Call or email with a rough idea of where you would like to go. We can then meet if you are nearby and discuss the trip over a cup of coffee, or we can chat on the phone. We will then prepare a suggested itinerary which can be tweaked as much as you like. Your entire holiday is designed around your requirements, and this includes budget, transport, places to see, visiting friends and family, accommodation, experiences and activities. All reservations will then be made, and a final itinerary prepared.
Special Occasions
We love arranging trips for special occasions. From honeymoons, silver weddings and ‘significant’ birthdays to longer trips to celebrate retirement, you can be sure your trip will be unique.
Special Interest Groups
We currently arrange small group travel for several organisations, and trips are wonderfully diverse from the Ancient Archaeology of the Orkney Isles, the Geology of the NW USA and Galleries and Museums of the Baltic States, to the Wildlife of Madhya Pradesh, India and specialist wildlife holidays.

Accommodation
We prefer to use lovely individual properties rather than large chain hotels. This may be a five star boutique hotel or a small homestay; as long as guests are warmly welcomed and looked after this is fine by us! Options range from small resort hotels to houseboats, homestays, wildlife lodges, converted palaces and posh tents!
